  • Head of Marketing

    As great enthusiasts and active contributors to the open-source blockchain communities Protofire help builders and providers of decentralized infrastructure, protocols and applications, to bootstrap the demand and supply sides of their markets, and accelerate mass adoption.

    We help startups with protocol & smart contract engineering, high-performance trusted data feeds (oracles), and awesome developer tools (SDKs/APIs).

    Since we started in 2016 we’ve had a chance to contribute to the development of many top projects in the blockchain ecosystem, including Maker, Chainlink, Tezos, Gnosis, The Graph, Filecoin, Synthetix, Avalanche and more. Apart from that we are running one of the biggest indexer nodes in the Graph Network, participating as bridge relayers and validators helping projects and networks to further decentralise their infrastructure.

    Requirements

    • Knowledge of web3 ecosystem: L1, L2 chains, DeFi, NFT

    Responsibilities

    • Plan multi-channel campaigns targeted at various groups of crypto investors and activities including content creation, SEO, social media activity, community building, participation in events, PR and PPC campaigns.
    • Work closely with leadership from other functions (e.g. Sales, FCTOs and founders) to ensure that Marketing is aligned with the overall business strategy and goals. Collaborate well with internal and external contributors – most projects you’ll work on have a diverse group of stakeholders and contributors.

  • Travel and Event Manager

    Protofire is seeking a highly organized and proactive Travel & Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of travel arrangements and events. This hybrid role combines travel management responsibilities with event coordination, including online and offline events, side events, sponsorships, and client relationship-building initiatives.     Responsibilities:

    Travel Management:

    • Develop and implement company travel policies and procedures.
    • Organize and book travel arrangements for team members, including airfare, accommodations, ground transportation, and other travel-related services.
    • Manage and track travel expenses, report on budgets, and reconcile travel-related credit card operations.
    • Research and negotiate contracts with airlines, hotels, and other travel vendors to secure optimal rates and services.
    • Provide visa support and address travel-related issues such as lost luggage or cancellations.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations that may impact travel policies or procedures.
    • Maintain and nurture relationships with travel vendors to ensure compliance with policies and high service standards.

    Event Management:

    • Foster and maintain relationships with the global event/conference organizers.
    • Manage event budgets, track expenditures, and prepare detailed post-event reports on outcomes and ROI.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders involved in event planning and execution.
    • Managing branded gifts for members and conferences (ideas, vendors, deliveries).
    • Coordinate with Marketing and Sales teams to organize meetings during the events with our new and existing clients and partners.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in corporate travel management and event coordination in IT companies (at least 3 years).
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple travel and event responsibilities simultaneously.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills for dealing with vendors, venues, and team members.

    Besides knowing Solidity, we’d love to hear your informed opinion on the latest developer tooling, adhere to industry best practices, and follow the latest vulnerabilities and hacks in the Ethereum smart contract space with interest.

    How you will make an impact

    • Produce high quality, performant, and well-tested Solidity code
